Now I need the perfect throw and something on the walls. Once the side table  gets a makeover, this will be the perfect corner to curl up with a good book. I can’t wait. Miss Gracie, a.k.a bossy cat, has already tried it out…

  1. Amazing!!! Saying that she was “tired and shabby” was an understatement. She had a trash bag for a seat!!! Well done!

  2. I can’t believe how chic SHE looks!! And you can’t beat the price!!

  3. No way – you did not seriously get that for $15!! And I’m so impressed with your upholstery skills and love the fabric that you chose. Thanks so much for linking up to Best of the Nest!

    • I know, I could not believe my luck. It was all I could do to keep my poker face when they told me the price. I was doing a happy dance in my head. Thanks so much, I look forward to Best of the Nest each month!

  4. Your fabric choice is beautiful! I love the job you did. My husband and I are in the process of recovering a French style chair. I have come to appreciate why pros cost what they do. You should be proud of the job you did.

    • Thank you. I was still in the process of removing the staples when I realized upholsterers earned every penny they charged. Good luck with your chairs. It definately helps to have a partner!

  5. You did an incredible job reupholstering your bargain chair! I love the fabric too!

    • Thank you. The fabric wasn’t my first choice, but I love it! Sometimes it is good when your first choice doesn’t work out.

  6. Love how this turned out. What a transformation. Thanks for sharing at link it or lump it!

  9. Sooooo pretty! You really rescued this chair from it’s orange nightmare!!!! Enjoy!

  10. Where did you get your fabric? LOVE it

  11. I have been looking for gray & white-ish fabric for many months & I LOVE how your chair turned out (I probably wouldn’t have chosen it just from looking online, but it’s so beautiful on your chair). However, I wondered per some of your pics & also the description on fabric.com if it truly is gray or if it’s more taupe (or brownish undertones)?

    Thanks so very much!!
