September Estate Sale Finds

Last week I went to an estate sale with a couple of friends. You know what that means right? I have some estate sale finds to share with you. The estate sale was in the next town over on a street know for its old mansions. Anytime there is a sale on that street, we try to go. Most of the mansions haven’t been updated yet so it is as if time stopped and you get a glimpse of how people lived and decorated their homes fifty to seventy five years ago.  It is so much fun to walk through the mansions and if we buy anything, that’s the icing on the cake!

The mansion last week was beautiful and between the three of us, we went home with many estate sale finds. I have a ton of pictures to share. I took the pictures as we unloaded the car. Everything is still dusty and dirty but that just makes the after pictures so much better!

$4 for a set of vintage sock stretchers- I die. They would look cute hanging by the fireplace for Christmas or hanging in a laundry room.

estate sale finds vintage books

There was a library and every wall was filled with books so of course we came home with a box of them.

On the third floor there was a holiday room filled with boxes and boxes of Christmas ornaments. There were quite a bit of Easter and Halloween decorations as well. Can you imagine having a room just for decorations? It was very cool.
